Executive Director Search Update:
Our Search Committee, representing the board, staff, and community is finishing their review of resumes and beginning interviews. There is excitement about the future and the new leadership this process is bringing. Our Board of Directors are hearing their updates and review the process. Our hope is to have a new Executive Director placed this Spring. We appreciate your continued prayers.
NEEDS LIST
The following items are needed for our work around the Harambee campus. If you have an item in your possession that you would like to donate as an in-kind gift, we would be appreciative. A price is listed next to each item. You may go to a place like Home Depot and purchase the item for donation to Harambee, or you may make a contribution to cover the cost of the item. • Service groups needed. Service groups that come for a week during the summer program are busy, needed, and have a memorable time! Check the calendar at the Harambee home page for available slots, then email Florence to inquire about scheduling your group. More information: Check out the Service Groups checklist page here.
• Thank you, L.A.U.P.! -- For the 26th consecutive year, Harambee will receive interns through Intervarsity's Los Angeles Urban Project. These college student interns will serve as teachers during our summer day camp.

Harambee is a field site for TechMission Corps (via Americorps) and Vista Interns. If you are interested in serving a paid and year-long Americorps/Vista internship at Harambee, get started at the TechMission Corps web site.
